The Recovery Space - Free 20 minute consultation

Alongside my counselling training, I have experience of working directly within frontline services. I understand the reality of shift work, high-pressure environments, and the emotional toll that can build over time when supporting others in demanding situations.
This allows me to offer a space where clients often feel understood without needing to explain or justify their experiences in detail. While I do not use personal disclosure in sessions, my practice is informed by both my training and my lived understanding of frontline work.
My approach is person-centred, which means sessions are guided by you and what feels most important in the moment. I will not rush you or direct you, but instead offer a supportive space where you can explore your experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable.
Counselling can feel like a significant step, especially if you are used to managing things independently. My aim is to offer a space where you can slow down, be heard, and begin to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels steady and supportive.
If you would like to explore working together, you are welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation to see if it feels like the right fit for you.
Welcome. I’m Jackie, a qualified counsellor offering a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental space for people to pause, reflect, and begin to recover from emotional and psychological strain.
While I have a specialist interest in supporting frontline and high-pressure professionals, my practice is inclusive and open to anyone who feels they would benefit from counselling. Whatever your background or circumstances, you will be met with a space where you can speak freely, at your own pace, without pressure or judgement.
You may be experiencing stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or finding it difficult to switch off and rest. You do not need to be in crisis to reach out.
